How it works

Write it
Open the link, say what you want to say, attach a photo if it helps. There is no sign-up and no form asking who you are.
Keep the passphrase
You get five words and a number. That is the only way back into the conversation — we cannot recover it, reset it, or look it up, because there is no account to attach it to.
Come back for the reply
The organisation can ask you a question and you can answer, still anonymously. That is the part a suggestion box has never been able to do.
The asymmetry
We check them. We don’t check you.
An organisation that wants its name on its box has to prove it controls the business. Nothing whatsoever is verified — or known — about the person writing.
What we check about them
- They control a bank account held in the business’s name
- The name shown is their registered name, not one they typed
- Their UEN is displayed, so you can check it yourself
- The web address is derived from that registered name
- A box with no verified name shows no name at all
What we know about you
- No name
- No email, no phone number
- No account — there is nothing to create
- No IP address kept, no device or browser fingerprint
- No record of when you read your own replies
Before you write
One thing worth knowing.
Timing can identify you
In a team of four, a message sent ten minutes after a difficult meeting may point at you regardless of what we do. We delay and batch our notifications to blunt it. If it matters, write later, from a personal device, somewhere else.
